Good idea

Willi,
That's a good idea. I wonder why the motorcycle manufacturer's have not used grease fittings at the lube points on their bikes; rather than require disassembly to lube everything? Other machine designs (cars, trucks, etc ...) have used them for years. Image

i have used a grease gun on the fittings when performing maintenance on my car, but where does the grease end up with your set-up willi? is that bung on the non-cable side of the exup? where does old grease get evacuated?

i think it would burn up. via smoke out exhaust lol grease does escape past the bushing. i use a high meltig graphite base grease wen grease burns away it leaves a teflon like coating i no this because i have removed the exup after a ride to inspect it.
