EXUP Worldwide was born from the ashes of the original EXUP Brotherhood – the definitive forum for all those who have interest in Yamaha FZ, FZR, and YZF motorcycles.
I have posted a couple of vids on FZR250.com and thought that some of the more experienced, bigger bike riders might appreciate them as well, even if it is only for some of the Tasmanian scenery.
Not sure if anyone can pick up on my riding techniques from these, but if some one sees that I am doing something wrong, I would listen to constructive criticism, as I have only been riding for 12 months.
Nice roads down there Dave - a nice break from the mind numbing traffic swarms we have.
Here, I don't mean this so much as criticism as a safety observation - you did that whole ride on the wrong side of the road!!!!
Just your luck though, it would appear everyone else was on the wrong side that day too, so it works out......
I would like to hear the engine on that 250 Dave.
I know what a 1000 with an 18 Y/O throttle jocky sounds like, but I'd like to hear a 250 wound up!!!
Looks like fun to me.

I seem to be lucky every day with the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD BIT
I mucked up the link on the first video on the FZR250.COM website when I was doing the cut and paste bit and your comments on the sound took me back there. I have corrected it now and the first vid has sound but its not terrific. You would need to get back and download the first vid.
I have just made a seperate mic and amp for the real vid camera, so next time I make a vid it should be a lot better.
I am a long way from 18, that was over 30 years ago but I did get a bike learners licence back then but never got a bike but rode a mates YAMMY RD350 a few times.
DAVE
DAVE's websiteAlways remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.
Ahhh..........Much better on the video Dave - I was curious to hear the engine.
When I hear "250" I automatically think of a twin.
It's nice to know Yamaha knows better than that and gave you guys a screaming inline 4 cylinder!!
Loved the tach shots going to 14K on the ride. Wow.
{If I tried that on the 1 litre I wouldn't be around long I'm pretty sure }
