brake bleeding question

so.....I just put the R1 MC on my FZR

but I cannot get brake pressure for the life of me, its got the stock 1-2 FZR lines on it unfortunately, I have never bled a system like this before, just single lines and cars.........

is there some trick I need to know???

Start on the left side first, move over to the right side, then wrap a bunch of rags around the M/C and crack the bolt on the lines.

Let it sit over night and check in the AM. Some folks will even put a rubber starp around the handlebar and lever as it sits over night.

well, after running almost an entire quart of fluid through her, a good hour of bleeding, shes done and working great


I coulda done all 4 corners on my car in less time :D


the change was noticable enough that I racked myself stopping to hard on accident
