Nothing major like Barney made it out to be.

Guy had problems with Tomohawk tire warmers (never heard of them anyways) and isnt getting the help he wants for the problems with them and is out $300.

REason to buy a REPUTABLE BRAND like CHickenhawk and the likes. Its kinda like buying LP stands and expecting them to be as sturdy as Piutbulls.

BTW heres teh post

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sending out a message to inform all riders of an extremely unprofessional and dissapointing encounter I've had with Desser Tire & Rubber Company. I purchased a set of Tomahawk Tire Warmers from them in June 2006. Upon the third weekend of use, the front warmer began shutting off intermittently, as well as developed a knot in the side elastic, preventing it from stretching all the way around the tire.

Long story short, Ken (sales mgr.) and salesman Tony at Desser Tire & Rubber Co. provided no assistance to me in this matter. I shipped them my warmers, per their request, at which point after three weeks they were shipped back with no changes, other than a promise to pay for shipping back to them and a replacement if I experienced the same problem, which they claim they cannot verify??? I have since e-mailed pics of the improper fit on the tire, as well as left countless voicemails for them both, none of which have been returned. The only feedback I have received from this company during this whole ordeal, is that I must not know how to use them!!!

Just wanted to save any of you the trouble from a similar encounter, in the unfortunate event that you should ever choose to do business with this unprofessional, lying and deceitful company. After all, I'm now out $300, and there is no other contact in the U.S. for Tomahawk.

I'm not familiar with Tomahawk products other than they are the company that makes colored tires for streetbikes. I have only seen them on stunt bikes and show bikes.
