Third Time's a Charm

Post by sickle44 »

Unfortunately, I'd rather not have to be using the subject line in reference to my back surgeries, however, from the pluralization, it is sad but true. Sept 24, I'll be hitting the cold steel table again to fuse my S1/L5 with partial discetomy and decrompression, if there are any prayin' folk, I'd be much obliged to receive dem dar prayers??? Specifically that I'll never have a subject line that reads, Fourth Time's a Charm.

Surgery is at 9:30am so I will be gone for a week or so.

Thanks in advance
Michael

Thanks fellas for all your kind words.
Got home yesterday,
In the worst pain I've ever been in after the previous two surgeries.
On a LOT of Hydromorphone(Synthetic Morphine basically)
and Hydromorphone Contin(Long acting)
Takin' meds every four hours/24 hours a day,

Good for some twisted ass dreams though let me tell yeah.
Now it's just the waiting game.

be patient and the good results will come,

You actually poped into my mind as i was riding home Friday night, so i lit up the rear as i left a set of lights, just a small offering to the motorcycle gods to look after you on your journey

best wishes

So you're ready to get to work, right ? :poke :poke

I'm glad things are heading in the right direction for you. No hurries. Winter is almost here so you can hibernate now.
