Back from Holidays now fellas, and back from the hospital after a GallBladder attack too boot. I've got some gall stones to get rid of now so welcome all the stories pro gall bladder surgery and anti-gall bladder surgery. Myself, I'd kinda like to keep my organ as well, God only provided me with one and I don't have that Lizard like uncanny ability to simply just; grow another one!!
So, Do tell??

Yes Yes I know, I said, I'm building a project YZF1070
Basement is done now, 850 finished and gone...
Gotta get the new siding up on the house.
Fixing the FZ1 up, cleaning up garage and then I might even begin

That sounds pretty nasty, I've never had any trouble with gall bladder (knock on wood) but I'm still young-ish so plenty of time to get myself in trouble if i don't watch out...

depends on where the gall stones are, if they are in the bile ducts, then an ERCP (look it up) will probly do the trick, and you get to keep you GB. If the stones are in the GB, then you may have little choice than to have it removed.
They might call it key hole surgery, but any abdominal surgery will be painfull, due mainly to the high volume of nerve endings in your abdomen
You can have an ultrasound or MRI (MRCP) to help visualise the stones, if you havn't already

Thanks fellas for the reply's, appreiate it, keep'm coming.
Hey Cam, I'm only 42 myself.
Let me know if you Mrs' has any issues at all Tim.
I've heard the ERCP leaves you with a good chance of pancreatitus which is worse than the gall attack! Shitty. Thus far, I'm leaning towards trying to get them out Naturally somehow; after that living with it.
