It was ok but I can't have been much in the mood, so we shot through early and went and had a look at a local airshow.
The main drawcard was the only flying De Havalland Mosquito in the world that have just had a total rebuild and recieved it's airworthyness certificate this week.
There were a lot of other planes including a P40 Kittyhawk, P51 Mustang, Spitfire replica and a Vampire jet.
After enjoying the low level fly pasts and watching these magnificent planes being put through their paces, including aerobatics, I decided to catch a few video shots on my iphone in the hope that they would turn out ok, they're not long and there is no zoom, but put them onto full screen and turn the volume up and you'll get the idea, it was and awesone sight and sound!!!!!!

Unfortunatley the Spitfire replica had to make a belly landing while retining to it's home airport due to an undercarrage malfunction later in the day, but the pilot put it down easy and walked away
